Art Sessions
MY APPROACH is to provide a calm, engaging, and fun environment where creativity can flourish. I use naturally sourced and foraged materials whenever possible, such as clay, driftwood, deadwood, leaves, seedheads, and more, to offer a holistic approach to learning. The aim is to nourish the soul through arts and crafts, fostering a positive and enriching energy. By focusing on the seasons, each session is tailored to what is relevant and available, with projects like Christmas wreaths and dried fruit decorations in winter, and flowers and landscapes in summer, ensuring a meaningful connection to nature throughout the year.
Water Colour
I provide stretched paper, watercolour paints, and watercolour pencils for your creative sessions. During the warmer months, I also offer the option of still life or wild sketching, allowing you to explore the beauty of nature in your artwork.
Dream Catchers
Crafted from hazel bent into a circle, these creations are adorned with wool, crystals, and wire, then embellished with feathers and jewels for a unique, decorative touch.
Coloured Chalk Pastels
Similar to a watercolour session, I also offer classes using pastel paper and charcoal, giving you the opportunity to explore different textures and techniques in your artwork.
Decoupage
Upcycled glass jars are transformed with beautiful decoupage techniques, creating unique, decorative pieces with a personal touch.
Painted Pebbles
I offer a variety of creative ideas, from flowers and landscapes to poems and simple words. Each piece is varnished for durability, making them perfect for both indoor display or as charming garden accents.
Imagineer Boards
These boards are decorated using a collage of mixed media to create a visual representation of our goals and aspirations. In some cases, they are designed to evoke memories by incorporating memorabilia from past decades, such as magazines from the 50s, 60s, and 70s.
